Extension of lockdown will help contain the spread of the virus

MANGALURU: Apex Industry body, the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India has stated that the Delhi government’s move to further extend the imposition of restrictions for another six days will help in containing the spread of the virus in the national capital.
Deepak Sood, Secretary General ASSOCHAM stated that these micro containment strategies initiated by the state government is certainly the right step taken by the government.
Sood explained that another comforting thing is the mass vaccination drive conducted by the central government in collaboration with the various state governments are happening at a great pace.
“Even private industries are coming forward in assisting the government to help in the vaccination drive, we are confident that all these steps will help in containing the virus and help the economy to recover,” he pointed out.
